Installation Guide

JarvisOS is deployed via AME Wizard — the official tool from Ameliorated Labs for applying deep-system Windows playbooks. The process is straightforward, but read through the prerequisites carefully before you begin.

Prerequisites

Always test in a VM first. JarvisOS v30.05.26 has passed VM validation — but verify on your specific hardware before applying to a daily-driver machine.
RequirementDetail
OSFresh Windows 11 install — builds 22000, 22621, 22631, 26100, 26200, 27686
UpdatesAll Windows Updates installed and rebooted
AntivirusDisabled or removed before running
DefenderTamper Protection OFF (via Windows Security settings)
PowerPlugged in if on a laptop
BackupYour data backed up — this is a system-level operation
Do not run any third-party debloat tools (O&O ShutUp10, Winaero Tweaker, etc.) before or after JarvisOS. They will conflict with AME’s deep-system configuration and are not supported.

Windows 11 25H2 Local Account Bypass

On fresh 25H2 ISOs, the standard local account OOBE bypass may not work. During the network or sign-in screen:
Press Shift + F10 → type: start ms-cxh:localonly
This forces the offline local account creation wizard directly.

Step-by-Step Installation

Step 1 — Download

Get both files:

Step 2 — Prepare

Turn off Windows Defender Real-Time Protection and Tamper Protection. AME Wizard requires unhindered access to modify system components.

Step 3 — Run AME Wizard

  1. Launch AME Wizard as Administrator
  2. Drag JarvisOS_30.05.26.apbx into the Wizard window
  3. Work through the pre-flight checklist — resolve any flagged issues
  4. Click Run Playbook

Step 4 — Select Your Stack

JarvisOS presents a full-screen selection UI. Pick what goes on your machine:

Browser

Brave, LibreWolf, or Zen Browser. One selection required.

Office Suite

OnlyOffice (recommended), LibreOffice, or FreeOffice. One selection required.

Dev Tools

Git, VS Code, Node.js LTS — all optional, all checked by default.

Maintenance Tools

Privacy+ Settings, App Fetch, AtlasOS Toolbox, Revision Tool — all default-checked.

Step 5 — Wait

The system will restart multiple times during the mitigation phase. Do not interrupt. A forced shutdown mid-process will require a clean reinstall. When AME Wizard shows the success screen, you are done. Proceed to Post-Installation.
If the Wizard shows a popup modal instead of a full-screen selection UI, you may have an older version of the playbook. Download the latest release from GitHub.
